1. Right to Return & 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
At Wamp Costume, we strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. In accordance with international e-commerce regulations and consumer protection frameworks (including the European Union Directive on Consumer Rights), Customers have the right to return their purchase and request a refund within a fourteen (14) calendar day cooling-off period. This window begins on the day you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), physically receive the package.
2. Hygiene & Health Protection Exclusions (Intimate Items)
Due to the personal and intimate nature of our product catalog—which includes intimate apparel, harnesses, lingerie, and accessories—we must enforce strict hygiene regulations to protect the health and safety of all our Customers. In compliance with applicable consumer laws, the right of withdrawal and return is completely excluded for intimate apparel, bodysuits, briefs, harnesses, and body accessories once their original hygiene seal, protective packaging, or security tags have been unsealed, opened, or tampered with after delivery.
Products that have been worn, tried on directly against the skin, washed, or soiled cannot be accepted under any circumstances. We inspect all returned items under specialized lighting and sanitation scanners. Any product failing this sanitation inspection will be rejected, and the package will be returned to the Customer at their own expense, or discarded with their consent, without any refund.
3. Return Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a refund, returned items that are not excluded by the hygiene restrictions must meet the following strict conditions:
- The product must be entirely unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the exact same condition in which it was received.
- All original branding tags, hangtags, security loops, and hygiene seals must remain fully intact and attached to the product.
- The product must be returned in its original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging (e.g., custom boxes, satin bags, protective plastic envelopes).
- The return package must be prepared securely, preferably using our discreet outer box or a similar plain shipping envelope to ensure privacy and protection during transit.
4. Step-by-Step Return Procedure
To initiate a return, you must follow our structured process to ensure accurate tracking and rapid processing:
- Request Return Approval: Contact our support team via email at info@wampcostume.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please state your order number, the specific items you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Receive RMA Number: If your return is eligible, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with the designated return shipping address. Returns shipped without an official RMA number will not be processed.
- Pack Securely: Place the items in their original packaging, include the RMA form inside the package, and seal the package in a plain, discreet outer container.
- Ship the Package: Ship the package using a trackable courier service of your choice. You must provide the tracking number to us once the shipment is dispatched.
5. Return Shipping Fees
Responsibility for return shipping costs is allocated based on the reason for the return:
- Change of Mind / Sizing Issues: If you are returning an eligible item because of a change of mind, sizing preference, or style mismatch, the Customer is solely responsible for all return shipping costs, customs clearance fees, and tracking expenses. We highly recommend using a trackable and insured service, as Wamp Costume is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
- Incorrect, Defective, or Damaged Items: If you receive a product that is defective, damaged during transit, or incorrect due to our error, Wamp Costume will cover all return shipping costs. We will provide a pre-paid shipping label or reimburse your shipping costs up to a reasonable, pre-approved limit.
6. Product Exchanges
To ensure hygiene safety and due to rapid stock turnover, we do not offer direct, automatic product exchanges. If you require a different size, color, or model of an eligible item, please initiate a standard return for the original item to receive a refund, and subsequently place a new order on wampcostume.com for the desired replacement. This allows us to process your request quickly and secure your new item before it sells out.
7. Inspection & Refund Approval Process
Upon receipt of your return at our warehouse, our quality control team will conduct a thorough physical inspection of the returned items. This inspection process is usually completed within three (3) to five (5) business days from the date of arrival at our facility.
Once inspected:
- If the items comply with our return policy criteria, you will receive an automated email notification confirming the approval of your refund.
- If the items fail our sanitation or eligibility checks (e.g., worn, unsealed, damaged, missing tags), the return will be formally rejected. In this case, you will be notified, and you may opt to have the items shipped back to you at your expense within thirty (30) days; otherwise, they will be safely disposed of.
8. Refund Execution & iyzico Processing Times
Once your refund is approved, the transaction is processed through our secure payment gateway partner, iyzico. All refunds are issued exclusively to the original payment method utilized to place the order (e.g., the specific credit card, debit card, or account charged). Under no circumstances can refunds be issued to alternative cards or bank accounts.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear on your financial statement depends on your bank or card issuer's policies, typically ranging from **seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days**. Please note that original shipping charges, customs duties, and transaction handling fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a product defect or seller error.
9. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
We pride ourselves on our meticulous quality standards. However, in the rare event that you receive a defective or incorrect item, please notify us immediately at info@wampcostume.com with the following details:
- Your order number.
- A detailed description of the defect, damage, or discrepancy.
- Clear, high-resolution photographs illustrating the issue (including tags and packaging).
All claims for defective or damaged items must be reported within **forty-eight (48) hours** of physical delivery. Once verified, we will arrange for a free replacement to be dispatched immediately, or issue a complete refund (including all shipping fees) via iyzico.
10. Partial Returns & Promotional Bundles
If you purchased products as part of a promotional bundle, multi-buy discount (e.g., "buy 3 for the price of 2"), or with a discount code, and you return only a portion of the bundle, the refund will be recalculated. The remaining items in your possession will be charged at their full, non-discounted retail price, and the difference will be deducted from your refund amount. This ensures that promotional discounts are only granted to purchases that meet the full promotional criteria.
11. Custom-Made & Personalized Goods
Any items that have been customized, altered, custom-sized, or personalized to your specific measurements or requirements are strictly excluded from the right of withdrawal, return, or refund, unless they arrive damaged or defective. These items are manufactured specifically for your order and cannot be resold.
